Last week Stone Brewing Berlin officially opened the doors to their destination restaurant and beer mecca, offering 75 different beers on tap – the largest selection in the entire country of Germany! 2. Women Continue to Make Progress in Craft Brewing: In addition to more women drinking beer, women are also home brewers, brewmasters and CEOs of their own beer-related companies. For example, the Stanford University research team of Dr. Sarah Soule and Dr. Shelley Correll found that out of 2,536 breweries surveyed, 21 percent (543) had at least one female founder, CEO or head brewer. Give Them Beer at Shark Tank and Get $2M: Phil Petraccca and David McDonald invented a home beer tap called Fizzics, that claims to make beer from bottles and cans taste like it’s been poured out of a bar tap.
