In the book, the author provides a detailed pictorial history of D. G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. The book is loaded with historic photographs and is easy to read. Five generations of Yuengling family members have run this business and the book provides insight into each generation’s challenges and successes. One of my favorite stories is about how D. G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. survived Prohibition. If you have an interest in brewing history in the U.S., enjoy drinking Yuengling beers, or are a brewiana collector, this is a must read book.
