Every time I go to Beach City Brewery, I meet and talk with fascinating people.  One of these people is Phil Bettencourt.  Among other accomplishments, Phil is an exceptional photographer who has photo-documented Beach City Brewery from inception to now.  A famous quote goes: “A picture is worth a thousand words.”  In that case, Phil has written a very skillful novel.  With Phil’s permission, I present to you an excerpt from his photographic novel.
