Starting Monday, June 1, Stone Brewing’s modern take on a Belgian classic, Stone Saison, will be available in six-packs and on draft at retailers, bars and restaurants. Southern California fields, including Stone Farms, produced the lemon zest, grains of paradise, lemon thyme, lavender and small dose of peppers that give Stone Saison its citrus, floral, and spice character.
Saisons are sturdy farmhouse ales that were traditionally brewed in the winter by Belgian farmers to be consumed throughout the summer months. Saisons are wonderful to drink during late spring and summer because of their broad range of refreshing spice flavors, semi-dry finish, and champagne-like effervescence due to bottle conditioning.
