Happy International Beer Day 2016 !
Beer lovers throughout the globe are celebrating International Beer Day 2016 – held the first Friday of every August. I know, yesterday was IPA day but beer lovers are always looking to celebrate the world’s greatest beverage.
International Beer Day (IBD) is a worldwide celebration of beer, taking place in pubs, bars, breweries, and back yards all over the world. There aren’t a lot of things the whole world agrees on, but enjoying beer is one of them. Originally founded in 2007 and first celebrated in 2008, the goal of International Beer Day is to unite the world in celebration of beer. By celebrating you’re joining a community of millions of men and women around the globe, all rejoicing in the deliciousness that is beer. Ready to celebrate? Here’s are some great ways to celebrate International Beer Day 2016 :
1. Drink Good Beer with Good Friends
If you were thinking about spending International Beer Day by yourself, think again! Drinking beer may be the most important part of celebrating International Beer Day, but beer goes best with great fellowship and a little conversation. So invite your friends out to celebrate or invite them into your home, but make sure you have some camaraderie to go with your brews.
Cheers to Friends!
2. Find Your Nearest IBD Celebration
Check your local brewery or pub. They are probably celebrating IBD, possibly with special beer releases or other events.

Thousands of men and women around the world have devoted their lives to providing us with the enormous variety beers we have available to us, and on International Beer Day it’s important to let these people know that we appreciate them. So write a note, leave a tip, make a call, or just say thanks, but make sure your brewers and bartenders know that you appreciate them.
Thank You!
