My Firkin Beer Blog to Participate in the 2017 Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference (BBC17)
Get ready, the fun is about to start! Because My Firkin Beer Blog will be participating in the 2017 U.S. Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference (BBC17). Founded in 2010, the Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference provides an annual forum for beer writers to congregate and interact. This year the conference takes place August 4-6 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with approximately 130 attendees from throughout North America.
Zephyr Conferences, part of Zephyr Adventures, organizes the Beer Bloggers & Writers Conference. Zephyr Adventures runs food, wine, and beer tours around the world.
Once called the “beer capital of the world”, Milwaukee screams beer history and culture. With breweries popping up as early as the 1840s, Milwaukee was eventually home to four major brewing giants: Pabst, Blatz, Miller, and Schlitz. Conference attendees will be immersed in that history. The historic Pabst Brewery will house the conference event. In addition, one dinner takes place at the MillerCoors brewery.
But now the independent and craft beer revolution has emerged. Hence, smaller brewery participants are also a focus, including Lakefront Brewery, Good City Brewing, and Brenner Brewing.
