SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21 AT WATERFRONT PARK IN SAN DIEGO, CA
91X Presents Ye Scallywag! returns to Waterfront Park in San Diego, CA this Saturday, October 21. The day-long craft beer, food and music festival will feature over 100 craft beers, along with a full day of punk rock music with performances by Pennywise, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes, The Vandals, Lagwagon, Strung Out, The Adolescents, and Western Settings.
Sycuan Casino will host food pairing sessions for attendees to enjoy. Chef Paul will demonstrate three courses which will be paired with beer selections from the festival’s featured breweries. Sessions will take place in between music sets at 1:30 p.m., 2:45 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., and will be limited to 50 participants per session. While additional patrons can watch and listen, only 50 people will be able to participate in the tastings, so early arrival is suggested.
Sycuan Food Demonstrations with Chef Paul are as follows (subject to change):
1st Course – juniper lamb loin with cannellini, braised smoked kale, and maple glaze
2nd Course – blood orange hamachi with Persian pickled cucumbers, squid ink couscous, and daikon sprouts
3rd Course – harvest ale pumpkin short rib with kabocha squash, farmhouse blue cheese, and coffee pecans
Band performance times for Ye Scallywag! are as follows (subject to change):8:15 p.m. – Pennywise 7:00 p.m. – Me First And The Gimme Gimmes 5:45 p.m. – The Vandals 4:30 p.m. – Lagwagon 3:15 p.m. – Strung Out 2:00 p.m. – Adolescents 1:00 p.m. – Western Settings During VIP and early entry tastings (from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.), and general admission tastings (from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.), Ye Scallywag! attendees will enjoy unlimited craft beer samples from top California breweries and more. Local artisan food trucks and pop-up restaurants will also be on site selling a variety of delicious and unique food options throughout the day and evening. Craft beer and other libations will be available for purchase at concession stands as well. | Waterfront Park is located at 1600 Pacific Highway in San Diego, near North San Diego Bay. Ye Scallywag! will have a convenient drop off area for ride sharing and taxis, and the Green Line to San Diego’s Santa Fe Depot train station is just three blocks from Waterfront Park.
