Celebrate and Support America’s Small and Independent Brewers
Tomorrow, designated Small Brewery Sunday, provides an opportunity for all craft beer lovers to support their local small breweries. These small businesses need our help. And helping them is in the best interest of every craft beer lover.
So let our local, independent craft brewers know just how much we appreciate their dedication to providing the beverage we all love. Most importantly, visit and buy growlers, crowlers, cans, bottles or merchandise. Inside, outside, curbside or even on-line, take the time tomorrow to support one or more small, independent breweries.
Supporting Local on Small Brewery Sunday
COVID-19 has impacted breweries throughout the world. The majority of the more than 8,000 breweries in the United States are small and independent. As a result of shutdowns, they are struggling right now and need our help.
Did you know that most Americans live within 10 miles of a small, independent craft brewery? Use CraftBeer.com’s handy Brewery Finder to locate a brewpub or taproom near you. If you don’t feel safe drinking at the brewery, then get beer to go!

Stay Safe and Support Your Local Brewer
We will all get through this pandemic by working together and supporting one another. And remember, the Brewers Association and American Hombrewers Association are the best resources for keeping up-to-date for supporting breweries and homebrew shops.
“This is a very challenging time for breweries and their livelihoods are at risk….” said Bob Pease, president and CEO, Brewers Association. “The craft beer community is rooted in collaboration and philanthropy, and now is our chance to come together and give back to our most vulnerable breweries.”
