Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a stiff whiskey cocktail or craft beer at Descanso this weekend! From Friday until Sunday, get into the spirit of the Emerald isle with an Irish Kiss Martini, $14, a chocolate martini with Roe & Co Irish whiskey, Irish cream liqueur, and chocolate love vodka served up with a chocolate swirl, an Irish Goodbye, $12, a Celtic and herbaceous take on a Moscow Mule, featuring Roe & Co Irish whiskey, lime juice, rosemary basil syrup and ginger beer, or a Dublin Flower, $12, a springtime martini with Roe & Co Irish whiskey and St. Germaine. These are perfect for sipping at their bar in the sunshine on their expansive patio.
Get your “Sláinte!” on with these whiskey cocktails!
Shots of Roe & Co Irish whiskey and St. Germaine at $8 along with green beer will also be available this weekend. Of course, in typical Central Mexican fashion, Descanso will have plenty of green margaritas on hand!
To soak up the alcohol, the restaurant also just debuted many new menu items including: Sea Bass (a la plancha) featuring an 8 oz. Mexican white sea bass laid over grilled asparagus and seasonal vegetables, topped with fried beets and a lemon beurre blanc; Striped Bass Ceviche with leche de tigre, pomegranate, avocado, red onion, fresno chile, lemon and lime; Enchiladas de Langosta (Lobster Enchiladas) and their Gordita Taco (Pork Belly Taco).
