Descanso Restaurant is thrilled to announce a lineup of special offerings, set to make this Cinco de Mayo celebration truly unforgettable. Guests are invited to join the modern taqueria for a weekend brimming with delicious drinks, mouthwatering cuisine and vibrant entertainment on May 4-5.
On Saturday and Sunday, Descanso will be serving up a fiesta brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring a mouthwatering selection of dishes to tantalize your taste buds including the Heuvos con Bistec featuring steak and eggs made with an 8 oz hanger steak, two eggs, bacon, serrano potatoes and avocado or the Francesca Toast featuring Mexican style french toast made with traditional Mexican sweet cornbread and topped with cinnamon crema, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries. Guests can dive into refreshing Margarita Pitchers, available for just $32 during brunch hours, or indulge in endless enjoyment with bottomless Bloody Marias.

On Sunday, May 5th, guests can enjoy a complimentary serving of Chef Jose Angulo’s Mango Morita Chile Chicken Wings while savoring specially crafted margaritas, including El Descanso, Watermelon Rita, and Cucumber + Sal, all priced at just $10 each. To enhance the experience, patrons can indulge in refreshing $5 Modelo drafts – salud!
For those without reservations, guests are invited to partake in Descanso’s Street Taco Lounge offering modern gourmet street tacos, featuring an array of protein options including pork, steak, chicken, and shrimp. Additionally, guests can indulge in the satellite bar, offering a variety of specialty margaritas, all made with premium and fresh ingredients to complement their culinary experience.
As part of its Cinco de Mayo celebration, Descanso is turning up the vibe with two sets of live music on Saturday, May 4, at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m., and on Sunday, May 5, at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m., ensuring a contemporary twist to the evening and crafting the ultimate modern Mexican fiesta experience!
