Una Mas Amber Lager (5.8% ABV): This beer pours a clear golden brown color that looks very much like apple juice with a white to tan head.  Una Mas lager has a sweet, overripe apple aroma with hints of raisin and bread.  The beer is medium bodied and has a low carbonation that I found  pleasant.  Una Mas tastes of malt, apple, and hops (and maybe even a slight presence of banana).  The beer finishes with a mild hoppy bitter aftertaste.  This is a unique amber lager, which may be one of the reasons it won the best of show award at the 18th Annual California State Fair Craft Beer Competition.
