5. First Whisky Glass Designed to Work in Space: Okay, this story is not about beer but it is so awesome that I had to include it in my 5 Stories Over Beer posting. In 2015, Ballantine went on a mission to ensure our astronauts could enjoy a “wee dram” in space by inventing the first whisky glass designed to work in space. The prototype has been engineered and tested in micro gravity by the very best at the ZARM Drop Tower, Bremen, Germany.
