I can barely spell the name and I can’t pronounce it but Nya Carnegiebryggeriet is definitely worth visiting. Nya Carnegiebryggeriet is the European sister brewery of Brooklyn Brewing.

This restaurant and brewery is located next to the water and offers good beer, delicious food and a great view.

You can sit indoors or outdoors. If the weather is nice, you’d be crazy not to sit outdoors and enjoy watching the ferry pull up to a nearby dock.

I tried 5 different beers while visiting – Luma Lager, Kellerbier, Amber, Hoppy Daze NE IPA, and 100W West Coast IPA. My favorites were the Kellerbier and Hoppy Daze NE IPA.

The food at Nya Carnegiebryggeriet is outstanding. I had the Arctic Char with pickled mango and cucumber. The Luma Lager was a perfect accompaniment.

And the staff at Nya Carnegiebryggeriet are very friendly and attentive. If ever in Stockholm, this is a great place to visit. Skal!
