Green Flash First Annual Brewdown Beer Competition & Festival
Join Green Flash Brewing for their First Annual Brewdown Beer Competition & Festival on April 13, 2019 from 12:00 to 4:00 pm at their Mira Mesa brewery! This will be a friendly competition among the San Diego craft brewing community, voted on by attendees, with the opportunity to give back in a BIG way!
Green Flash has invited local brewers to choose one of their amazing libations to showcase in this beer competition masquerading as a beer fest! Each submission will truly be a brewer’s choice with no ABV, ingredient or style restrictions. Each participating brewery will be brewing for a chance to win a $5,000 cash donation (by Green Flash) to a charity of their choosing. In addition to the donation, a Brewer’s Trophy and eternal glory awaits for the winners you get to choose! Rest assured, many of your favorite festival elements will be available; UNLIMITED tastings of amazing craft beer, food from the finest food trucks, friendly people, games and live music.
Tickets are $35 each or 4 pack for $30 each. All ticket holders will have a chance to vote for the best of show beer. Your ticket includes unlimited tastings from the 20 breweries participating in the competition. Make sure to share this event with your friends.

Location: Parking lot at Green Flash Brewery
Where do I park? There will be parking available across the street in the Green Flash overflow lot and plenty of street parking. Green Flash encourages carpooling with a designated driver or utilizing taxis or a ride sharing app such as Lyft or Uber.
Am I able to bring my family? YES, Green Flash Brewery is a family friendly space and the invitation is extended to Brewdown. Children under the age of 12 accompanied by parents are welcome. All ID’s will be checked upon arrival and only those over 21 years of age with a festival ticket will receive a green wristband & taster glass in order to sample beer.
Parents are wholly responsible for the enjoyment and safety of their children throughout the event.
Can I bring my dog/s? Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome to join the festivities.
Will the Tasting Room be open during this event? The Tasting Room will be open to the public during this event, only ticket holders with wristbands will be able to sample beer in the parking lot. Please note that due to ABC restrictions, no beer from the festival may be brought into the brewery and visa versa. You will be asked to either consume or dump your beer before crossing premises.
What is the refund policy? No refunds will be issued for this festival. 100% of the profit goes to raising money for the San Diego Brewers Guild.
