Firestone Walker’s annual winter seasonal stout is back with a twist as they release Mocha Dolce Nitro Stout – an all-new seasonal beer infused with premium Madagascar vanilla beans, cocoa nibs, and fresh-roasted coffee beans.

Mocha Dolce is available for a limited time at Firestone Walker’s online store and their three locations in Paso Robles, Buellton, and Venice. It’s also rolling out to all Firestone Walker markets. Use their Beer Finder to locate it near you.

Brewmaster Matt Brynildson says, “We enhanced our classic nitro stout and took it to the next level with these new additions – all of which meld perfectly with the beer’s rich, chocolaty character. Meanwhile, a touch of lactose brings a mellow sweetness to the mouthfeel, in the classic milk stout style. The result is a smooth, creamy beer that tastes like your favorite latte.”

Ho! Ho! Christmas came early at Abita Brewing with the release of their Office Party and Christmas Ale beers.

Brewed with oats, pale, caramel, and chocolate malts and hopped with Willamette hops, Office Party stout puts the Xmas season in your glass. Abita added generous amounts of cocoa nibs, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg. The infusion brings the spirit of the holidays into this limited release beer.

Abita brewed Christmas Ale with six types of malted barley and fermented with American Ale yeast to create their holiday brown ale. Pale malt as well as a combination of Caramel, Biscuit, Munich, and chocolate malts are used. It is hopped and dry-hopped with Columbus, Cascade, Centennial, and Amarillo and has a nice piney and citrus hop flavor and aroma. The result is a flavorful brown ale that is sweet and malty with a pleasant hop aroma.
